    SKU: WAT-001

Watanas, also known as San Ccapas , are traditional Andean bead strands that symbolize the earth, the spirit, the feminine and the masculine, the journey of life and a multitude of prayers and unique elements . These crafts are made from sheep or alpaca wool, woven with a variety of colors and designs, adorned with "the stars", which are the beads.

The weavers of the Q'ero nation share their time in making the Watanas for ceremonial use, in dispatches, and also as protective bracelets .

Each color and fabric represents a symbol . Tiny white beads are sewn along the edges of these ties. They represent stars and are cooked with love.

It is customary for the shaman to tie loose Watanas around the neck.

These Watanas are consecrated by the Pauccar family in a prayer to expand consciousness.

There are many models with colorful combinations, one is selected at random to fill your order.
